This article is just a short update to the earlier Iron Dragon Tiamaton article, showing how Iron Dragon Tiamaton could be used against the current OCG 2019.07 Guardragon combo. His Altergeist deck list will be available in the next OCG 2019.07 Metagame Report #7. This year we have the 2019 World Champion, Kosaka Kouki “魔鏡”, using Iron Dragon Tiamaton against Dragon Link. It's common to find one copy as a crossout target, but it is a safe play to run multiples in this event.Last year we saw the 2017 World Champion, Tsujimura Ryosuke “ひつじ”, utilizing Iron Dragon Tiamaton against Gouki and the various Knightmare Link decks. Nib ends at the bottom because he's not great against all of our top 4, but we will be dining at the salad buffet for the next 2 weeks. I strongly recommend considering some extra spell/trap removal for Link Reg.

Fire Prison will shine espcially well in decks ending on link 4s, not letting your opponent link summon anything less than a link 4. But wait, that's not all! The spell/trap destruction will be especially relevant in this meta, tossing Salad's Roar, Tri-brigade's Revolt, and Sky Strikers soul.
Though this storm doesn't pair well with Phantazmay, you might consider the copy hanging out in your collection because all links have to be in attack position. This adds stock to Raigeki, Duster, and Nibiru. Phantazmay may be number one on the list, but you **need** to accompany this chap with some board breakers to really capitalize on the card selection he offers. Bonus points for tossing your own salad into the GY, kicking your Kitts to extend your tri-brigade plays, or using his dragon type for dragon link plays. Swat those Rage, Widow Anchors, Lil-las, and Imperms and make your plays.

He's not just fixing your hand trying to imitate maxx, he's a free material for your link plays and his negate will be relevant against the slew of targeting effects in this meta. Lot's of links makes dragon fly high off the charts of usability. Consider this list when filling the rest of your deck and you won't just be tossing Salad, but tri-brigade, Sky Striker, and Live Twin too.
